Where to High Tea in NYC

One of the greatest things about living in a city like New York, is all the culture from the world that has traveled and nestled itself into the big apple. One tradition in which I have always found myself fascinated was English “High Tea.” As a little girl, I had a lot of “water and snacks” (versus the traditional “tea and cakes”) with my little sister, and when I was old enough to handle glass, my grandparents gifted me my own yellow and polka-dotted tea set! Years later, Prince William married Kate Middleton, and I had tea and biscuits as I watched the royal wedding, lol. Finally, at 24 years old I moved to a city where new cultures could be discovered every 10 feet, and I had my first “official” afternoon tea. Below you will find some recommendations on places you can experience the old English tradition!
